Meeting New People - Jinan
As our good fortune would have it, we meet a wonderful family in Jinan...The Grossmans. Brian, who is completing his masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been living in Jinan for 2 years with his family and doing his practicum at the same hospital as ours. They have truly been a blessing providing numerous tips and advice...not to mention a translated dinner menu at this restaurant called the "Xiao Cao Fang". Excellent company and great food !

Brian Arrives in Jinan

Soccer Game in Jinan
On Sunday, we attended a professional soccer game in Jinan with the Grossman family and Mitch's friend Brian. It was a lot of fun and Jinan won ! However, note to self, the stadium sells no food, no water. Only pop served in a plastic bag ! Good times...good times !

Debbie Hikes Qian Fo Mountain - Jinan
After hearing all the fuss from Mitch and Rick about our local mountain, Debbie went and checked it out for herself. And indeed it was a great afternoon spending time in the mountains, enjoying the solitude and scenery.
This is one of the entrances onto the mountain just a few minutes walk from our apartment.
